The KMT has been in a state of decline for a decade now. It continues to be a minority party in the Legislative Yuan, having not had a majority or a president since 2012. The DPP has become entrenched as a political majority, holding the power in Taiwan. It seems that their hold on the Legislative Yuan and Presidency is unshakeable. The KMT's base is rooted in the old generations, with the party unable to attract young voters. This cannot be. If the KMT cannot attract young voters, it will die. Sun Yat-Sen's party will not wither away on Taiwan.

Johnny Chiang, chairman of the KMT since March of 2020, has pushed for reform in the past. Now, however, he will put reform into action and revitalize the Kuomintang. From 2022 onwards, the KMT will be a party of the future. The party shall implement a list of new policies and concepts that the KMT shall push for in the future:

• Internet Reform

• E-Democracy

• Economic Self-Sufficiency

Finally, for the KMT to make a comeback, we will have to adjust our stance on the mainland. Although the KMT has had conversations with the CPC in the past, we must boldy declare that we will not accept any kind of offer from the mainland that does not put the interests of the Taiwanese people on an equal footing with the mainland. We will become staunch supporters of the status quo in regards to cross strait relations.
