The results of the SOYUZKVANT first 8 quantum computers was discussed at length at LVIVMISiS and provided valuable information towards the maximization of the commercial viability of the quantum computers. Undisclosed to the groups that were acquiring the technology (other than the Supreme Council and MoD), each of the 8 computers had slightly different compositions to see which performed best under conditions such as room temperature, the fluctuations in weather that could cause an increase in room temperature, and other factors such as those.
All of the computers performed exceptionally and have been used to simplify the data storage and processing at ROSATOM and ROSTEC, while the MoD quantum computer has been able to rapidly simulate numerous scenarios outputting important statistical information in rapid data processing. Banking services that were conducted using the quantum computer were determined to be much faster than conventional technological processing, and infinitely more secure, essentially eradicating any sort of electronic attacks on banking institutions.
The computer at Gazprom performed best at room temperature and warmer conditions, edging out the next best by 0.05% and the first prototype by 0.89%. Using this information, the next prototype of the SOYUZKVANT quantum computer was 20% smaller than the large behemoths that were delivered as the initial eight. In the large picture, we expect to get the size of this quantum computer down to that of a conventional desktop PC by 2028, with the capability for laptop tech by 2030 and mobile telephone tech by 2031.
Further experimentation based on the results from the yearlong trial run at the various Russian industries and state offices has resulted in a quantum computer that is now 30% smaller than the first prototype, largely based on the elimination of extraneous factors and the ability to machine smaller arrays and smaller electric components.
[M] The next milestone post will be a thick one and the final milestone next week will mostly just be reactions to the development of the quantum computer.
