Tourism is an important factor to the Iranian economy. Despite being under economic sanctions, Iran pushes forward to make a better country for all.

However, in the last few years, tourists have been shying away from the country while locals are not spending their money either on domestic tourism. Both have had an impact on the economy.

The government of Iran has begun a search for willing investors and international hotel chains to open up more rooms and locations in Iran. This mostly includes European hotel chains.
