As a part of pushing to lower Spain's 18% unemployment (Which has been steadily falling since 2017), the Spanish Government has managed to push through a new series of labor and education reforms to help further grow the Spanish economy and reduce unemployment:

  • Continuation of the 2012 Labor Reform, which saw the implementation of a more flexible labor market. Here the policy will be to adapt Spanish unemployment around the "grey" unemployment market that makes up a majority of Spain's unemployed population (seasonal work, odd jobs, etc.) by reducing the minimum wage to 650 euros a month and reducing government contract restrictions to encourage companies to employ short-term and seasonal work.
  • As a concession to the PSOE, the Spanish government will be rolling out a comprehensive reform of the education system, particularly by pressing to increase the amount of Spanish youths attending colleges by increasing education funding for public schools as well as establishing new school programs to help to encourage and assist Spanish students to continue from E.S.O schools to Bachillerto schooling by providing students with easier access to STEM classes and Humanities programs via both increasing money going into those programs as well as administrative reform to further take in student input regarding teacher quality and behavior in order to help improve the quality of teaching and curriculum.
