NOTE: Not in a "it might be a scam!" way. More or less, a "you shouldn't let this setting on" way.

So, earlier today, I came home with a new Steam card. Redeemed it, got some stuff I wanted, and then realized I had $7.30 left. I decided I'd go buy another skin. I remembered I didn't have Five-SeveN, so I looked up Case Hardeneds. I was looking over patterns, and I didn't like any FTs. I switched over to Chrome for the large amount of items on pages I've configured with Steam Inventory Helper. So, I loaded some WWs, and was looking through them. Didn't find anything on page #1. I went to page #2. Now, when I went to #2, it was loading EXTREMELY slow. I re-clicked the next page button. Except I didn't. Clicked my mouse, but right onto a buy button. For anyone who doesn't know, SIH has a feature that will quick buy items, without any confirmation or way to cancel it. It's on by default. Instead of buying a good pattern, I bought a $3 gun for $7.

Moral of the story: Please! If you're going to use SIH, TURN OFF QUICKBUY!!!! It will save you a load of money, trust me. Pretty sure I'm not the only one that this has happened to. DON'T LEARN THE HARD WAY!
