Post Body

I am not joking when i am telling you that like 50% of my improvement came from attitude adjustment along with practice.

This is prompted by a recent game where we were on the cusp of winning and one of my teammates pissed off one of my teammates so bad that he teamkilled him and left. There are humans playing this game, and you need to understand that psychology is a major part of it.

Positive reinforcement when people do good shit and never putting blame on an individual (even when they clearly do stupid shit) is paramount for team cohesion. If you say to your teammate "yo, i can flash for you" that is a thousand times more effective than saying "PURPLE I AM FLASHING FOR YOU"

One because it gives them time to say okay, this is for me, i'm getting ready for it and two because it doesn't sound as commanding. People don't like that, and in case of it backfiring it will blow up on you.

For reference, I'm Supreme (recently deranked from global, hopefully back up soon again :D) and i had a massive change from being almost hardstuck in DMG when i did this. Nades, especially knowing when to throw them instead of just tossing them willy nilly where there might be an enemy is the second most important part, but attitude is definitely #1.

This isnt as relevant in like, teams or whatever but in matchmacking i thought i'd share what helped me out the most.

tl;dr Make sure everyone plays nice and reinforce good behaviour
