Could someone please explain Zeus's play from yesterday to someone who's new to CS:GO?
Post Body

I started playing CS:GO two months ago and am very intrigued by it. I've watched a couple of matches by now too, but I hardly know any of the players and teams.

So when watching yesterday's final, I was amazed by Zeus's play. It seemed extremely amateurish, his skills were nowhere near the other players' skills. I can't quite understand, how he can play in such a tournament. Browsing through Reddit I didn't get an explanation why he played like this. So I'm now asking you, fellow community.

Was he simply a placeholder in the team? Did he catch an extremely bad day? What's the reason for this play? I dare say I could win a 1v1 against him, but there must be a reason why he plays for Na'Vi.

He had a bad series, much like how athletes in sports occasionally have bad/off days. There's not much else to understand.
