I've played OW, LoL, and SC2 with my friends. They definitely seem like the type of people that if given the chance to experience CSGO, they'd like it. The problem is that I float around DMG/LE, and they have to hit level 3 to do competitive anyway.
My question is that if I were to convince them to download/buy CS, how would I make them stay? A friend recommended doing CEVO pugs as a group, but I'm not sure if they'd enjoy getting blasted. I personally think casuals are a joke and a clusterfuck, and I could see them getting angry at campers - which isn't really a thing in the real competitive game anyway.
I personally was thinking maybe setting up a server so we could play against each other. I'd love to hear suggestions of how to give a group of people a good first experience into the game.
