I see so many posts on here in the past two days hyping this update today and Iâm not gonna lie I was slick hoping for source 2 myself. I do think that people are over reacting on this though. I am pretty sure that the dev team are working non stop on this huge update, that would explain why we havenât really seen many updates recently besides pistol âfixesâ. Before we say that Valve hates this game and itâs player base we need to step back and think how we would feel if they did release it on its 5th anniversary and then there is some huge game breaking bug in there. I personally like the fact that they are at least trying to test these game changing updates put before shipping them to us plebs. I remember when the R8 came out, one example of a game breaking bug for me, and how the community reacted then. Hell I even got off the game for about a month and a half myself. I would hate to see Valve release this huge update and lose a fourth of its CSGO player base, not to mention the impact it would have on these pro leagues and tournaments. In short I think we need to give Valve a break and think about how mad we have gotten and the past just to turn around and sing there praises when the do give us the coveted update.
TLDR: Donât get butthurt over todayâs update. Give Valve the benefit of doubt here and just think they are still perfecting it.
