Major Champion Trophy Suggestion
Post Body

If you didn't already know, if a player and their team achieve "Legend" status at a Valve-sponsored Major, they get an in-game trophy to reflect upon how far they made it in the tournament. Since the older trophies, excluding Cluj's were small badges, Valve made some really cool trophies for the Legends at the Cluj-Napoca 2015 Major. They gave them actual in-game trophies that look really cool.

I'd like to give a suggestion, however. I really like the idea of player badges that can be kept. They are a symbol of success, and should be kept by a player as a reminder to an amazing time. But what if there was an added bonus?

If you win the entire Major, you get a 2nd trophy.

Not a 2nd "YOU WON!" trophy to have forever, either. 5 trophies are given to the 5 winning players. They have them in their inventories from the date they won the Major. Finally, the team arrives at their next Major to defend their title.

If they do not come out as champion, the 5 trophies are removed from their inventories, and moved to the new champions. The cycle repeats every time a new champion is crowned. Obviously the teams get to have their normal trophies, but the real title cup is moved.

It would have to be moved automatically, in case a player doesn't trade it. It would be kept by the player until the next Major is over, even if they are transferred to a new team/org.

You could call it "CS:GO World Champion Trophy" in-game.

TL;DR: Keep the current trophy system, make a new, special one that moves from champion to champion.
