Lanyards are a fairly important part of the real life knife community, if you go on any knife related subreddit e.g /r/knifeclub or /r/knives, you will see people who have lanyards attached to their knives.

Hear me out here, lanyards would be a unboxable item from a special case, very similar to sticker cases, inside the cases would be normal paracord colors (paracord is the rope that lanyards are made from), and rare ones like fade. Here's some examples of colors that could be in the game.

Some of the less traditional knives like the butterfly could have paracord latches, instead of the normal latch, the karambit could possibly have a very short cord hanging from the ring, and most of the other knives have extra handle room that the paracord could hang from.

Some of the knives in the game have a small hole, this is where paracord would normally hang from, both the gut knife and the huntsman knife have lanyard holes.
