A couple years ago I moved in with a friend. Just like anyone we ordered pizza from time to time and I remember noticing her ALWAYS putting the leftover pizza in the pizza box inside the oven. I thought this might've just been something her family does cause my family would always stick it in the fridge. So this goes on for about 2 years when I come across an article online saying how we shouldn't put the boxes there cause they can catch on fire. So last week I told her that and she said she ONLY STARTED DOING THAT CAUSE I DID IT FIRST. I was so confused!... I told her that I never once did until I saw her do that! But she was so convinced it was the other way around! So glad I just stumbled across this subreddit, I have no other explanation. Both of us are so sure the other one was the one who started putting the box in the oven first.
