First time posting here, sorry if it's not the right format. This took place in a part of Arizona called Bridge Canyon. This is an area known (at least by locals) for weird stuff. 99% of BC is off-grid and also very forbidding so not a lot of people live there. Me and some family were staying out there cleaning a property. After burning the trash in our trash pit, we all went to bed. I was sleeping on a futon outside in case the fire pit decided to relight. (Arizona desert) I had watched the moon rise between two mountains earlier and I was unable to sleep so I decided to look at the stars. My sister in law came out of the trailer behind me to ask if I had heard someone walking around but only got about three words out before staring at the horizon. Thinking she saw someone on the property, I looked where she was looking. The moon was just over the mountains where it had risen almost 4 hours ago. As we watched, it slowly SET right where we had watched it rise. The section of sky where it had set stayed lit for the rest of the night as if it was sitting right behind those mountains.
