Missing socket
Post Body

This was a story of a friend, Pia (not real name) who recently moved in her new place.

Sometime in June this year, Pia rented a brand new condominium unit closer to work. It was at the 41st floor of a posh residential condo, and has a really nice view of the skyline, the city lights, and the river that snakes the metro. Because of the stunning view, we frequently choose her place to hangout.

In one of these visits, I was seated on her sofa that's pushed to the wall, I asked where I could charge my phone. Pia looked at me strangely and exclaimed when she recalled an incident that creeped us out.

Pia said that she moved in, she used to plug in the electric stand fan to the socket at the back of the sofa, until she had a visitor who cooked for her. Her story goes that while grilling some fish, her visitor asked to reposition the electric fan for the meantime so the smoke from the grill could be blown out of the unit.

When they were done cooking and were about to eat, Pia and her visitor moved the electric fan back to its place close to the sofa. But they stared at each other, as they couldn't plug it in anymore.

There was no socket there, but a plain wall.

Pia said she was so freaked out and scared she might be losing her mind, thankfully there's another soul who witnessed this, so it seems, glitch in the matrix.

This is whe she pushed the sofa back to the wall and every time I visited, I'd check the wall maybe someone decided to put the socket back.
