Hi everyone! So basically I spent an hour completing the ADHD assessment form on the Barclays medical practice website. Then I called them and inquired about getting an appointment to discuss it. They said my address is outside their catchment area, which is so frustrating because I’m still in Glasgow and I thought this service was for all U of G students. Anyway, I told them I’d be back in the west end in September and they said we’d pick this back up back then. Now I’m heartbroken because my journey to getting screened has been delayed for 3 months.
Has anyone else got tested for adhd through this medical service? How was you experience? What were the different stages of the process? How long did it take to get a diagnosis?
I’ve heard that it can take two years to get tested for adhd in the UK, hence why I’m a upset about the delay.
