Started off with us being mad about our yi feeding, and he explained to us that he had broken his elbow. Usually I would say something along the lines about why are you playing, but instead told him I broke my shoulder last year doing something stupid. That led to me saying the guy I was seeing said I deserved it for being dumb (he wasn't wrong), so the MF i was supporting chimmed in and said her boyfriend would probably say the same. We all laughed and I joked did we have shitty boyfriends or are we just dumb? So from there on (I was her support and in pre-lobby she asked did we want to have matching skins so of course I said yes!) So knowing that, it just made me play more relaxed because there was a chill girl in the game! Then on top of that our anivia felt left out and said she also was a girl, and im like whoa wait- girl power right here! I said it was very rare to find girls in league and on top of that one's who were nice. We were all being a supportive team and no flaming but just some chill banter not only between ourselves but with the enemy team too! Enemy JG was fed and I killed him collecting his bounty. He decided to get revenge for me. He was out for blood (me soraka) but team had my back and for awhile every time he tried he was killed, leaving me alive with 1 hp.
We ended up losing the game, but the amount of positivity from both my team and enemy team, none of cared too much about it being a ranked game- we just were having fun because EVERYONE was so positive, my team and enemy team. The banter and niceness really can help when it comes to teams and I also learned a lesson to never flame again. This mostly started with me saying our yi was holding us back but when explained I felt bad also wasn't his fault opposing team had a lot of cc.
I know this may sound like a dumb post to some, but in my 8 years of playing league this was the most sweetest, and positive interaction ever. None of us were even mad that we lost, we all even wanted to honor each other and play again together in a custom game :)
Long story short- there are some decent gamers. I hope this was ok to post, because this is one of those games thats gonna stick to me for along time because I've never encountered such positivity.
Would love to hear other stories of positive interactions, since mostly for us women its not a common thing.
