Ipad game recommendations: what should I buy next?

Post Body

I used to get game recommendations from Touch Arcade, but lately they've veered sharply away from my taste in games, so I'm adrift. And Apple's App store is a piece of steaming you know what when it comes to browsing what's new. Hoping someone here can give me some good recommendations. Here is an idea of what I like and don't like:

  • Micro transactions are okay as long as I can enjoy the game without them. I'm no whale.
  • Not a fan of realistic violence, misogyny or intense action.
  • Love strategy, RPG, puzzle, crafting and click-to-move adventure games.
  • Games with an integral story are best. Not a fan of vapid games with no story.
  • I'm sick to death of pixel art.
  • Prefer to play solo.

Here are things I loved in the past. Anything that's similar to these would be great:

  • Radiation Island was fantastic (but Radiation City was a drag, turns out I liked the crafting)
  • All Spiderweb Software games
  • Monument Valley and Pruned
  • The Room games
  • Rusty Lake and their cube games were terrific

(There's more that I enjoyed and deleted, but the App store no longer shows my purchased apps, and I can't be bothered to go to iTunes to look them up.)
