Budget gins for G&T?

I'm a bit of a budget drinker, pretty much exclusively drinking Sapphire or Bombay for my martinis and gimlets. I've been drinking more G&T's lately and, not wanting to use my "top shelf" gin, wondering if any of the more bargain gins like Gordon's or Seagram's were any good when mixed with tonic?
