So I have been watching with the intention of trying to figure out why people like Logan for Rory. I get his appeal as first, as he plays the witty, sexy, uber-confident guy. That is clear.
However, their relationship just never seems super authentic and easy. It was like they were always at different ends of everything.
Today it hit me. When Logan and Rory first meet, and when they first start dating, Rory is in a phase of being really impulsive. She’s up for being taken by the Life and Death Brigadi while blindfolded and just goes with it. Stay the night in the woods unexpectedly? No problem!
The true essence of Rory, however, is planned and calculated. Just consider her pro/con list method of decision-making. They didn’t work because Rory wasn’t her authentic self when they met. Logan fell in love with the impulsive, easy-going Rory. Rory fell in love with the chase and the excitement, but didn’t want that long-term.
Just my thoughts. Let me know what you think.
