Question about Loreai and Michel at

So I was thinking about the show and how Loreai started working at the end around 16 and worked her way up. So my question is when did Michel start working there? Was he there before her or did he start after her(and at what point?) if her was already there when she started why would he listen to her when she is the manager and then owner if he has seniority? Granted it’s been awhile since I’ve seen the entire show and I bounce between favorite episodes. I also apologize if this has been asked this before. Thank you Typo: noticed in the title I put at which was not intentional.
