Hey guys! I wasn't really sure where else to post this, but I guess it's true there's a Subreddit for everything haha.

Okay so here's my predicament. I (27f) would like to buy a really nice gift for my best friend (34m) this year because he's had it rough. Also he has two kids so I know he's not going to spend any money on himself this year haha.

He's really in to: - Gaming (PS4 is his console of preference) -puzzles and figures he has to build -Star Wars - Marvel (specifically Captain America and Deadpool) -Lord of the Rings -Other such nerdy things Favorite colors: Purple. green, blue, dark gray Originally I considered getting him a custom color ps4 controller with his favorite colors but it might be ugly? https://i.imgur.com/L2PUrMZ.jpg

The real issue here is that his girlfriend kind of...hates me a bunch, so I was thinking maybe his gift would be better off being something he doesn't have to take home? He was recently promoted at work and works as a systems administrator. So maybe something unique or neat for his desk?

We've known eachother for about 3 years now, but have become really good friends over the past year. He doesn't celebrate his birthday so I don't get the chance to buy him things other than lunch or drinks haha.
