I go to the VA at least once a month. There is an elderly janitor who is always smiling, tells me hello, and guides me if I ask for help to find a station. He always listens to soft jazz as he cleans. I wanted to give him a nice set of headphones, but I don’t know if he has android or Apple. Then, I thought, maybe it says, “I don’t want to hear your music,” which is not the case. So, I decided to get him a small speaker, so he doesn’t blow his phone’s speaker.
Do you think it would be inappropriate to gift him? My next appointment is tomorrow and ideally, I’d like to give to him then.
