Hi everyone! :) I'm used to being a gifter here and not so much a requester, but I figured I'd give it a go for a game I'm very excited about: Cult of the Lamb. :) My partner has been playing this game quite a bit and enjoying the heck out of it.
Funnily enough, the reason I cannot afford it is because I have reached my budget limit for the month, most of it having gone to gifting people here. I regret nothing though, it honestly makes me so happy to give other people the gift of gaming. I think we all deserve a chance to relax from the stresses of life and play a game that brings us joy.
Cult of the Lamb is a combination of roguelike and colony sim, where you play as a lamb that must start a cult. The aesthetic is very cute and cartoony, and there are a myriad of choices you can make regarding your cult members and how things are run. My partner tends to love playing things from a more "evil" perspective and it has been neat to see how that plays out. For myself, I love to play the "goody two shoes" role so I'd be taking a completely different approach.
My first ever roguelike was Hades and I absolutely loved it, and I think I would get enjoyment out of this game too! It currently costs $27.99 CDN on Steam.

Thanks so much for your consideration and happy gaming!
