Hi i wish a great day for every member of this subreddit

I wanted to ask a $30 PSN gift card for Sekiro which is one of the most successful games of from software, creator of the great category of SoulsBorne games

Probably you heard the term SoulsBorne and heard about their infamous, very high and brutal difficulty which make lots of casual gamers who are looking just for fun and not challenges stay away from it

It's a true challenge. No joke about it. The game punishes you for your every wrong step. For your impatience or greed. But don't get me wrong, the game is so rewarding for the players who play it the right way.

Here the right way covers lots of things. there is some factors which can determine your success through the way. It's not anything you can gain by watching a walkthrough or using meta setup. It depends on yourself. Your skills, patience and nothing else That's why many people join in with mindset that they can somehow trick the game and end up not playing it

But i promise that it's not the case for me

I already played Bloodborne and it's dlc which i got gifted from this subreddit aswell. I had so much fun and played it for almost 200 hours, online and offline. Got every single trophy, weapon, killed every boss and opened every area

I died a lot through my journey. Maybe more than 300-400 times. But it didn't feel like a grind even once.

In many games you might get frustrated and feel that you're grinding for nothing but this game is rewarding so there is no feeling like this and i can have many hours of playtime on it just like i had on Bloodborne Between SoulsBorne games, Sekiro is known to be different from other entries because of the fact that this time the story is focused, areas are linear, rpg elements are less but in exchange we got the best combat mechanisms we had ever gotten from the not only series but most of the hack and slash games

Between SoulsBorne games its combat mechanisms is closest to Bloodborne which has my second favorite combat after Sekiro itself

But in general the combat is so similar to Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order that you might feel no differences in combat playing these two

I already got platinum trophy for Jedi Fallen Order with many hours of playtime and having fun with phenomenal combat which i really liked so I'm sure that Sekiro feels like home to me and I'll have fun on it aswell

Sekiro's combat is purely unforgivingly based on your reaction time as parries are the most important factors to make progress in the game as In the previous entries even if you didn't use parry you could still beat the game without much problems but in Sekiro it seems impossible and also the very fast paced combat of it makes a great mix traversal is very faster now as you have some tools like grappling hooks and you can make use of them in combats aswell which is one of my favorite aspects of the game

Also another invention of Sekiro through the SoulsBorne series is the stealth gameplay. I said that Sekiro is linear but it's mostly linear in terms of story and area order but every area is open so it might look like a sandbox game with my possibilities and ways to complete an area.

Do you want to take them all slowly in 1v1 combat? You can do.

You want to make the area a warzone and bring them all on yourself and kill them all at the same time? You're welcome to try

You want to stay stealth and progress slowly but safe? You're allowed to do

That's what makes this game beautiful and enjoyable even in your later playthroughs also it worths noting that the difficulty increases till the ng 7 so you have to finish the game 7 times on one save file in order to unlock the hardest difficulty There is also 2 different endings and many npc questlines which depends on how you progress the game.

Questlines are not an small yes and no as Every action you take and every person you kill might have influence on reaction and questline of the other npc so you have room for many many playthroughs. These are what makes the replayability and made Sekiro in eyes of many SoulsBorne veterans the best game in terms of Replayability and Combat mechanics

Previous games i got from here aside Bloodborne, were Sleeping Dogs which i got platinum trophy for aswell and The Witcher 3

To be honest my reason of low The Witcher playtime is that when i saw the announcement that they're going to release free next gen upgrade with new dlcs i stopped playing to experience my first playthrough with better graphics and fps

I hope that these were convincing enough to you. If you have any questions or wanted to ask for more info feel free to comment or send a dm
