Edit of the 1st post, I had to get a tooth extracted today, so my parents gave me a 20 to pay for my tooth extraction, but the dentist did it for free because I am a student, and students and little kids get it done for free, so now i have the ⅔ and am only missing the ⅓, that is 20€.

I'm resorting to this lovely sub for a chip-in so I can get the freshly released game you've all probably already heard of by now, Elden Ring.

Me and my friends have been waiting for the game to be released for the longest time now, my parents even let me pay the full price on release, since teens got 100 euro from the government so It wasn't my money anyways and I would still be in profit after I had bought the game, It was all perfect. But until the game released (because they had to delay the game multiple times for some reason), I had to get a new pair of sneakers for school, and now I'm left with a 20 in my wallet.

This is another souls-like I'm going to 100% smh 🙄 ✋ , just like I did with Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls II & Dark Souls III (Yes yes yes I know I'm still missing one achievement in Dark Souls III and yes I'm working on it but we'll let it slide this time right? Right.)

Apart from those 3 I've got on steam, I have also played Dark Souls I: Prepare to Die edition via not so ethical game downloading sites, but hey you cannot get it anymore and the keys for it go for hundreds of euros so you're going to have to excuse me on this. Between those 4 I have more than 350-400ish hours played, countless runs on different builds and characters, failed no hit runs because even though I have played for so long and so much I am still nowhere near that level, I'll get there eventually though.

Furthermore, I just got back to basketball practices after 2 weeks of Covid, and believe it or not, I end up not tightening my shoes enough and while being on a slippery part of the court I roll my ankle and I hear a pop. Now It's swollen and sadly I'm away from practices and school once again. But I always try and look at the positive side of things which issss.... Bonus time for ELDEN RING!!!

For the few of you people reading this that have never played a souls-like before I can try and summarize it in a few sentences.

The games are amazing, lore and story rich, with plenty of different ways to complete them, With Dark Souls I having 2, DS2 having 2 & DS3 having 3 possible endings. I'm not sure about Elden Ring's endings and lore, since I actively try and dodge the spoilers which is hard because my TikTok fyp is only about Elden Ring now, but I'm managing it so far. The games are open world, with a variety of enemies and interesting boss battles, and great npc's as well. I'm not going to spoil anything more, because some of you might get interested and want to see it all for yourself which I recommend very much.

Besides Elden Ring, the only souls-like games I haven't played are Bloodborne & Demon's Souls since they're Playstation exclusives and I've got a PC, but I'll get to them once, eventually.

I will be forever grateful to whoever ends up fulfilling my request, if anyone does of course, and In some form of return, I'll make sure to gift a game again when I can, because I'm getting a bank account soon to start some freelance work which will provide me enough for me to enjoy it to help someone else enjoy themselves in these tough times. Elden Ring is just one of those games that I'll be able to play over and over again, countless of times and not get bored of it, just like the Dark Souls trilogy. I've been saving myself from the spoilers as much as I could with the only thing I saw of it being the trailer on a TV ad, which was enough for me to fall in love with it. The game would keep me amused and entertained for such a long period of time, because of what I might even have to limit myself from playing as much to not drop my grades in school.

For anyone who's read this far, I hope you see the light of joy in souls-like games, and maybe pick one up for yourself, and see what you've been missing this whole time.
