Hello everyone, I'm a Engineering major college student from India. I've had a passion for gaming for years but I could never really pursue it because good hardware is very expensive in my country.
What I'm requesting - Mount and Blade- Bannerlord, the sequel to the highly successful Mount and Blade warband.
Why I'm requesting this game - Mount and Blade Warband was one of the few games I could run on a crappy i3 laptop I had. I used to play it for hours and hours after school, and even though I did not mod it in anyway(had no idea about modding back in the day), I still thoroughly enjoyed it every bit of it.
After that, it sort of slipped out of my memory for years and until very recently, I had no idea that there was even a sequel to the game. Recently I was searching for stuff to play as I'm trying to quit my destiny 2 addiction(yes it's pathetic ik), and I came across Mount and Blade- Bannerlord. I instantly fell in love with the game and am dying to try it. I would have bought it myself, but I find myself fresh out of money right now. I wouldn't have requested if the game wasn't so close to my heart. The game, though still in early access, has massive community mod support, amazing devs and is pretty well optimized from what I hear.
The game is a realistic medieval sandbox with massive, realistic medieval warfare with upto 1000 units on the battlefield at a time. The scale of battles in this game is truly huge, and the depth of combat is quite unparalleled. However, it isn't all about combat(far from it). You can roleplay however you want, as a bandit looting caravans and hiding from the local law, as a Trader plying your goods throughout the kingdom, or as a Mercenary, with loyalty as fickle as the wind. There is diplomacy, relations to manage, nobles to keep happy if you choose to rule your own kingdom. And the community mods overhaul the game, changing the game's map and universe to their OC universes, or even well known fantasy universes such as A Song of Ice and Fire or Lord of the Rings.
Thank you in advance to anyone who may decide to help! The more I write I realise that I'm quite bad at asking for stuff lol.
