Hello everyone. I’m here to request a $5 steam gift card for Half Life 2, HL2 Episode 1, and HL2 Episode 2. I completed Black Mesa a while back along with its achievements and ever since, I’ve been craving for more Half Life. I’ve heard many great things about HL2 and I’m willing to play it to continue the story from the first game but I’m unable to do so because of many factors outside of my reach. I’d appreciate it if you stuck around to read this request and thank you in advance.

I’ve always wanted to play HL2 mainly because of the positive reception the game gets. I’ve never really heard anything bad about the game and it would be great to continue from where Black Mesa/Half Life left off. Gameplay wise, it’s similar to the previous game, and I want to say that I enjoyed Black Mesa thoroughly. One character I’m most curious about is the mysterious G Man, so I’d like to see what role he plays in the next game, minor or major. I’ll also attempt to get all achievements because I’m into achievement hunting as long as the achievements aren’t too frustrating.

Black Mesa was a great game and had some unique weapons. I have to say that Xen was probably my favorite level because it was just so beautiful and the music was very soothing but on the negative side, it did drag on a bit. Not to forget, the scenery and transitions in that game were remarkable. If HL2 resembles it in any way, then it'll be just as good or even better than people say.

Lebanon, in general, has gone to shit where we now only have between 2-3 hours a day of electricity which means that I’m unable to make any use of my Xbox. In my last request the dollar exchange rate was 15000LBP for $1, as opposed to the pre-recession exchange rate which was 1500LBP for $1. Today, it’s hit 18000LBP which is absolutely insane. Couple that with what I’ve said before and you’ll see why people don’t like it here anymore.
