Well hello to you all, good morning/afternoon/evening/middle of night. I hope you all are having a swell moment within where ever/when ever you are. This, to me, is an odd request. I couldn't say how many of you would see where the "odd" is, but for any that can, or can't, this request should seem impossible. On PS4, "The Giant" was turned unavailable and was originally a pre-order map, which meant that it would be unobtainable. But, my friend showed the method to me, to where it is possible to get it, which gave me hope and the reason to make this request.

The Giant: The Giant, or Der Riese, was the first map within the Treyarch Zombies life span that introduced wonder weapons, and the item nobody bats an eye to, the Pack a Punch. In World At War Zombies, there was Nacht Der Untoten, which introduced the concept. Verruckt came next, which introduced the Perk-a-Colas, which made the game a bit easier to high round, and the power switch.. Shi No Numa was the next, which didn't bring any new true ideas, except for larger areas for training and some traps. Der Riese, which I believe was the final map of WAW, brought us the revolutionary wonder weapons and PAP. Most, if not all, Treyarch Zombie players would agree or see that this map is what formed and changed Zombies forever. Without Der Riese having brought us these items, Zombies would have been bland and maybe even died before it got far.

The Map: Der Riese, which was WAW's name, which translates to The Giant, was originally one of the multiplayer maps, but still had a change in it to where it fit Zombies. It holds the many original perks, the power switch, and 3 teleporters around that map. Once the 3 are linked to the middle, the Pack a Punch is revealed and available, which spending 5000 points, makes any ordinary gun increase in damage, and could also increase reload speed, output speed, and more. The map had a remake in Black Ops 1, and Black Ops 3, which both changed the map slightly, with different weapons, more perks and different engines. Even though Der Riese was the 4th map released, it was technically the first map storyline-wise. It's where the German's, group 935, started messing amount with element 119, which created the zombies on accident, the wonder weapons that the Nazis bought to win the war, and unfortunately, "hell hounds," which was created from Fluffy, the girls dog.

Why This Map: A while back, in February, the Zombie Chronicles edition of the game was reduced for a 67% discount, going from $60 down to $20. I got the game back in 2017 or so, around christmas time, when it came out for free with PS Plus. I owned the game, but in "trial" form. I bought the $20 discounted game, which for me only benefited with giving Zombie Chronicles, but now no longer considered "trial" or unowned. This purchase cancels out the Zombie Chronicles Bundle, which contains the 8 maps that were from old games, remade for it(Nacht Der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-LA, Moon, Origins). This left 5 maps of the game, which were The Giant, Der Eisendrache, Zetsubou No Shima, Gorod Krovi, and Revelations. Not too soon but not too long after I got the Zombie Chronicles edition for those 8 maps, I got Der Eisendrache, the midieval castle with Bow Wonder Weapons. This left TG, ZNS, GK, and Rev. ZNS, GK, and Rev each cost $7.99, and all have different aspects but also different opinion. ZNS is a jungle like map, which has a very tedious setup process, and challenging annoyances of spiders which web you and items, and thrashers, which spawn in too much and cause you to get out of the current train or process to take care of. ZNS is one of the upper tier maps, even with these seemingly annoying issues. Gorod Krovi, the map where you ride a dragon. This map brings out a weapon dubbed RayGun MK III, which is quite strong, and still not so easy to get. It includes flying electric drones which block ways and spawn in zombies that will annoy you. Ending off with a fight against a dragon and Nikolai in a big robot, this map is upper tier with ZNS. Rev, the final map of the game, and what was meant to be the ending of the storyline, was a bummer. It had so much hype to it, which shot down with how bad the map was. It combined multiple old maps, included a giant apothican worm, and brought back boss type enemies that didn't need to be brought back. Rev is considered to be the worst, if not one of the worst maps of the game. While this little "rant" may have seemed to show that I wouldn't mind GK or ZNS, I'm not entirely done. The Giant, while it is a remaster of an old map, was one of the best, and revolutionary maps, of the series. The Giant is what helped Zombies grow, and stay alive in the Treyarch games. As I said, it was thought to be unavailable and impossible to get, but after finding out how, I got refilled with hope, which is why I seek this map directly.

I'm an introvert, and though some day I'd hope to work on it and get out of it, I have yet to do so and haven't managed to start to. I created the name, and stuck to it, when I got an image from a friend that became my Profile Picture, and possibly even created my "legacy." I'm not trying to annoy any with a long and partially unneeded story, and I hope I didn't. I always end up doing this anyways, but I am asking for $5.99 for The Giant on Black Ops 3.
