Post Body

The last game I've acquired here was Dark Souls II : Scholar of the First Sin. Since then I've racked up around 50 hours in my first gameplay, where I'm close to collecting all achievements. And that's only 1 class, there's more to explore.

Before that I have played Dark Souls III , and have around 50 hours there as well. The achievements are harder on that game but I'm on my way of collecting everything there as well. I got a pirated copy of Dark Souls I : Prepare to Die Edition on a flash drive, installed it and played about 30 hours on my character. But It's simply unplayable and I've barely came to approximately a third. It runs in 20 fps on the lowest settings, while the other 2 games run 60 on max settings. It's just badly optimized for pc.

I've rented a PS4 to complete Bloodborne, since It's a PS4 exclusive and I'm only missing Dark Souls I and Demon's Souls, which I'm yet to figure out how I'm going to play, since It's on PS3 which I don't have.

For those who don't know what the SoulsBorne games are, they are basically Medieval Fantasy Role Play games, which consist of Dark Souls I, II & III, Demon's Souls, Bloodborne, and yet to come out Elden Ring. The games are so good, they got their own genre, hence SoulsBorne. For the Dark Souls trilogy, you set out as a chosen undead commonly referred to as the Ashen One, to a journey to either Link the Fire and end the curse for some time, after which another Chosen Undead will come and start his journey, or become the Dark Lord and prevail as the supreme sovereign.

Dark Souls games are incredibly well made. It's lore filled to the brim, even all of the items in their descriptions have parts of the lore. They're all pretty much inter-connected so you shouldn't only play it just to play it. You should enjoy the lore of the game. Every npc, item, boss, area, everything has small puzzle pieces of lore you need to connect to fulfill your enjoyment to the maximum.

The SoulsBorne games I've played until now are all amazing, and have so much room for experimenting, are very replayable since you have a lot of different classes to pick from, builds to make and try out, even multiple endings in some of the games, like Dark Souls I & III. Which have 2 and 3, from which one has a secret questline you have to discover yourself, which also shows attention to detail, as the start of the quest is from an npc that is alike 10 other next to him, and you need to talk to him exactly, and playthrough in a specific way so you could eventually unlock It after beating the Soul of Cinder, the final boss.

And plus, now that I've got covid I can play whenever i want, how much i want so I'm sure I'll be putting hours in this game, and it will help get my mind of the quarantine and the fever.

Even if you're not here to gift, thank you for reading and I hope I've managed to inspire you to play, or at least give the SoulsBorne a try to give you hours of fun and enjoyment, but if you are, I am very thankful!

Edit: I am now 3 achievenents away from 100% -ing Dark Souls 2, and I'm soon gonna get to 100% -ing Dark Souls 3, where im missing one of the endings and the covenants, plus 2 or 3 achievements on the side. That shouldn't take more than a week or 2 I hope, since imo, its easier than Ds2.
