My story

I received a PS4 from my cousin who left for college. He also gave me The Witcher 3 to play. Unfortunately, I don't like this game that much and I know that some people will strongly disagree with me here, but that is just my taste. I pretty much never had that much money to be able to buy games, but I also like to give gifts to people when I do have some extra cash. That is why I decided to join this subreddit and try to make some friends here.

I also love astronomy and play Fallout NV and Fallout 3 on my laptop.

The game

Metro Exodus is a first-person horror shooter, the third installment of the Metro game series. Originally, Metro was a series of 3 books by Dmitri Glukhovsky: Metro 2033, 2034 and 2035. Exodus continues the events from the Metro Last Light and Metro 2033 video games, which I won't spoil here, but for people that are undecided on whether or not they should play these games, I highly recommend them to play right away.

The player assumes the role of Artyome, the main character from 2 of Glukhovsky's books and the 2 video games. In my opinion, Artyome, despite the fact that he probably never speaks in the games, has one of the best personalities in video games.

Why I would love to play this game

First of all, I read all the books after playing Metro 2033 on my laptop. I have to say that they were extraordinary and I highly recommended them to anyone I knew. Even my dad read them all. After I read the books, I played Metro Last Light, which didn't disappoint at all. Ever since Metro Exodus first came out, as a big fan of the series, I told myself that I must get this game. However, my laptop is not capable of running it. When I received this PS4 from my cousin, I felt that this is my chance to finally be able to play this masterpiece. I also heard amazing things about this game and how it is a great improvement of the other games and read a lot of reviews online about it.

I will definitely play this game if anyone decides to gift it to me
