Hey there, I'm awful at writing beginnings, but generally I really like Halloween and related festivities, but also am a super scaredy cat. So, what better way to balance it out than to let me face my fears and then blow up my fears out of Earth's surface? I don't know any. And that's exactly what DUSK offers.

If you don't know, DUSK is a retro shooter, heavily inspired by Quake and Blood. Sometimes, people call these "boomer shooters". I've played Blood 1, and it was really solid (although I didn't beat the add ons, it felt too long for me already). I've also seen/read a fair lot of material about DUSK and how just fucking awesome it is. It strikes me as a game that I would love. And it has a rockin' soundtrack of whose existence I learned when I asked people about other games with metal soundtracks (Hades has one, you should play Hades!).

My biggest hope is that someone interested in the Humble Thrills & Chills Bundle that doesn't wanna grab DUSK (not too likely, but propably still existing) will want to bump up a tier or something. I'm not interested in any of the other games in the bundle, and 16$ is quite a lot for me (I bought Hades for the equivalent of 9$ and it still hurt :<). If I don't get DUSK now, I'll propably just go listen to the soundtrack or something. I didn't hear it all, but it propably kicks major ass.
