Post Body

so, after playing all the F-Zero games (again (again (dear god i have a problem))) i found GRIP: Combat Racing through a youtuber (ace the ocarina maker. recommend him. good content) and after further searching on chats and forums i was told that it is F-Zero, but, explosions.

i am looking for that high octane, high speed, thrilling and awesome gameplay i was so attracted to in the original series so much.

if you have played the game and have reasons to why it sucks that i missed please tell me. i dont want any of the kind people's money here getting wasted.

now i have been having trouble with the length requirement since im not a good writer and english not being my native tounge so ill try to expand on my previous versions (fifth re write. high standards (which is good) are hard ) onto the relevant parts of my story:

Hi! my name is Hephaistos (not really but its the same initial!) and i am from israel! now i never lived in frugality so my expansive hobby wasnt really fit for our style. when i had my bar mitzvah my mom and dad, then still married, gathered money from all my expanded family to buy me a computer (i5 7400, 1060 6gigs, 8 gigs of ram) which even at the time wasnt impressive (which is ironic because one of my freelance gigs is computer building and repair. i havent built a pc that cost less than 2400 us dollars yet.) and i have been using it since. i treasure it greatly. when my parents had gotten divorced it affected me greatly and i retreated to my hobby (even now on my insomnic sleepless nights i boot my pc and game until my body crashes, face on table.) which was my only salvation. one of the things i did the most was emulation as it was an efficient way to get to a massive library of games without killing my computer. thats when i found f-zero (great games, check em out)

when my parents divorced and i subsequently started highschool and going to the gym (took me time, fatso) i decided to find a job to help cover my schooling and or gym. i started to work at a grocer, giving money to my parents and keeping a little for my self for treats (fat once fat forever) and for hanging out with friends (dont want to be that guy). i also picked up my fathers old fender heartfield prophecy ii bass (great bass, check it out). as the covid pandemic hit us i didnt think much was going to change but the goverments a bitch and my city was marked "red" (meaning: fucked) and i lost my job.

now, jobless, cashless, and extremely bored after 100% the binding of Isaac wrath of the lamb (AMAZING GAME! CHECK IT OUT!) i was looking to fill the car shaped hole in my heart that f-zero left and so i came here.

for those who took the time out of their day (or night, not judging) to read this post, thank you!

in the meantime heres some music i recommend to ease these hard times!

king crimson, yes!, jethro tull, moody blues, Emmerson lake and palmer.

LOVE YALL, have a good one, Hephaistos.
