Hello. Long time lurker, first time requester here. I hope you’re doing well, and thank you for reading this.

Basically, I’m looking to get Dark Souls 2 SotFS for PC. It’s on sale on Humble Bundle and I was thinking of getting it. I’m just starting university so I don’t have much money at the moment though.

There are a couple of reasons I would like to get this game, the first being that it’s great! Most people aren’t fans of DS2, but I actually really like it (from what I’ve played). You’re probably wondering how I’ve played it, and it’s because I actually have it already on PS4, but now that I’m in university I don’t have my PS4 anymore. I was going to wait until I could get it back next year or whenever I go back home (I’m studying abroad).

I’m not going to go into detail because I don’t want to be manipulative and turn this into a sob story, but I’m not feeling the best and I thought this game would help. I never actually finished it, but it starts off with just someone trying to get rid of their curse of being hollow. That’s actually the main reason I loved this game from what I played. Unlike the first one (which is one of my favourite games of all time), you just play as a regular person who is fighting for themselves, rather than a chosen one who is destined to become a god or a dark lord. Instead of this, you are someone who is fighting through a hard time, in order to get to the other side, and I find that so inspiring, which is why I loved it.

As I mentioned before, the original is one of my favourite games, and from what I’ve played of 2, it has the same type of gameplay, but with some slight differences, like double wielding and being able to climb ladders quicker by holding the run button.
