Hello all, Hope everyone is doing well this morning and staying safe. I've been on stay at home for about three weeks now and as a graduate student it hasn't been particularly easy. As part of our contract to earn out stipend we must teach, since labs aren't being held at colleges we can't teach and so our universities cut our stipend off one day into stay at home. It's been rough, I've managed to take out some more student loans to barely cover rent for the April and May but hopefully that's as long as this goes for. I'm also getting very bored and with there being a serious lack of sports it would be really nice to have OOTP to at least pass the time with doing something I really enjoy. I've been a fan of baseball since I was a little kid growing up watching it with my dad during the summer. I played all through high score and was offered a few d2 scholarships which I ultimiately turned down due to an injury. Still baseball remains my favorite sport, theres a strategy and a beauty to the game that you don't see in a lot of other sports and nothing beats a heated pitcher duel. I also LOVE fantasy baeball and look forward every year to drafting and managing my team, which sadly has hit a stand still this year. OOTP is one of the top baseball sims out there and allows you to manage your team to a ridiculous amount of detail. If someone could spare $20 to gift me this game, it would not go unused or unappreciated. Thank you all and please please please stay safe.
