Post Body

I grew up playing the old COD games back when they first came out years ago. I was drawn in to the amazing features and graphics (that were as best as could be at the time for platformers). I wanted to be able to get a feel for the new Modern Warfare game that just recently came out on Blizzard.

A bit of backstory: I started with Call of Duty back in 2003, and it was the first realistic FPS game I was ever introduced to. All my friends and I really had a passion for the series and COD franchise. It led me towards other titles later on, such as COD 2, COD 3, and eventually COD 4 and Remastered versions. When my friends and I drifted off due to high school coming to a close, it was also time for me to stop playing World at War on my Nintendo Wii. It was heartbreaking for me to move on from the series for a while due to academia and not being able to stay home to enjoy the WAW action. I was forced to rely on my friend's PS4 for Infinite Warfare and other titles during my undergraduate studies, mostly because I never could have extra space to bring my Wii to the apartments as they were small and not that large. Plus, I never owned a console other than the Nintendo ones.

Fast forward a few years, and here I am introduced to Modern Warfare in all its glory. My friends (from the present day now), had told me all about this game and how it has surpassed a lot of expectations and truly lives up to the franchise. I wanted to get this game because it was something I wanted to return to.. given that I haven't touched a COD game in years. I want to re-join the COD fandom and become one with the soldiers again, this time in Modern Warfare (the newest one). For me personally, being engrossed in this franchise has led me to believe that COD has become one of the best FPS game genres I've come across in all my years of playing video games, both on PC and also for Nintendo. After finishing college and graduate school, I still feel like I'm financially burdened though.

As of now, I am quite in debt with student loans, and I have been fixated on buying Modern Warfare ever since it released in late October. I really want to play this game and join my Discord friends for some fun and action-packed thrills. The sad part is that I don't think I can cover the expenses or cost of the game as it is 60 bucks currently online. I am here, hoping that someone with a kind heart can assist me in this process. It is a hard time as well for currently due to the fact that I lost a grandparent in the first week of January, so it has been a very tough situation for me as a New Year turning point, and I wanted to have a game that I could really enjoy myself with. The distraction from Modern Warfare is something that not only could help me feel a lot better about myself, but also know that someone out there was very kind and willing to support me in my financial/emotional situation. I understand that it may be too much to ask for, but if someone is willing to help me it would mean the world to me truly, and would help lift a heavy burden off my shoulders in terms of what I am going through.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! My Bnet ID: ManOnTheMoon#11311.
