Hello all!
I am requesting just the Forsaken DLC for Destiny 2 on PC. I already have the base game and all the previous DLC, I would just like the standard edition Forsaken DLC at this time.
Earlier this year, I started to get into a game a few of you have probably heard of, namely Fortnite. I enjoyed it, but quickly discovered I enjoyed watching it be played much more than actually playing it myself. Enter a rather popular streamer by the name of DrLupo. Anyone who knows him may probably know what I didn't know at the time, he is a fairly well known Destiny streamer. Shortly after I started watching him stream, he dealt with a really rough family matter, and even not knowing him and watching him stream for about a month at this point, it crushed me to see how it affected him.
From that time, and coming to see that he was a really genuine, caring person, I started watching his stream on almost a daily basis. At a later point, I watched him talk about, and eventually stream Destiny 2 leading up to and after the release of Forsaken. And I couldn't get enough of watching it. Before all this, I had gotten the game and the previous DLC, and did enjoy it, but I never really saw what the full potential of the game was, and until seeing DrLupo play it, had no idea of the amazing changes coming to the game. I have recently attempted to get back into the game, but lacking the Forsaken DLC kind of feels like playing the game with a serious handicap.
Now onto my reasoning for this request. A few months ago, I lost a job I really loved. At this point, money is a little tight while I try to get things sorted out and back together. I do deal with depression, and gaming is sort of an escape for me. I also have a deep love for anything scifi. Destiny 2 has kind of been a perfect game for me so far, i'm loving the story and pretty much everything about it at this point. But I really feel like I'm missing out on a lot of what makes the game so great right now lacking Forsaken.
Anyways, If you've made it this far, thanks so much for reading! I appreciate even the read, and if anyone does find it in them to gift the Forsaken DLC (or honestly even if they don't) I do want to give to this community at a time that I can.
Edit: Cleaning up some repetition.
