Why Do I Want the Expansion Pass?

I'm personally in love with Pillars of Eternity so far but unfortunately when I bought the game I was unaware a sequel was coming out relatively soon and wouldn't be surprised if the expansion ties into the sequel. I'm a person who also tries to get the most out of their games but was hesitant purchasing the dlc and even Pillars because while I love RPG's, I'm fairly new to cRPG's using the real time pausing combat. So because of that I initially just decided to buy the base game just in case I didn't fall in love with it and didn't spend more on something I wouldn't like. Turns out I'm absolutely enjoying Pillars and regretting not buying the dlc because I have a feeling I want to get the sequel soon but don't want to miss out on important aspects. I love the freedom of choices, the amazing world building/writing, the very challenging but rewarding combat system, and lastly the characters interesting interactions you have with them as well. I don't want to miss out from not playing the dlc because there's quite a lot of improvements and even more amazing details I'm afraid I'll miss out not having the dlc to this game.

Why I Can't Buy It

Currently really trying to keep my expenses in check besides I guess the sequel to this game but I also have a few vacations with family I have to save up on. I probably would of ended up saving money on this game buying the dlc as a package but like I said earlier my thought process was completely different before then.

I appreciate it to anyone who would be willing to gift me the dlc or even just considering it. It means a lot to me
