Note: I have been notified that Fallout 3 isn't the most stable game. I don't want to risk being gifted a game I cant play, so instead of requesting Fallout 3 like in my previous post, I will be requesting new vegas instead.
Hey readers!
I have seen that the Fallout3 Fallout: New Vegas is on sale, so its time to make an embarrassing confession: I have never played a Fallout game *commence gasping. So I was thinking it was as good a time as any to get into the series so I will as the title suggests be requesting: Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition
What is Fallout New Vegas?
I'm going to keep this part short as you guys all probably know what this series is about and story/gameplay mechanics. Though here is a quick rundown of the series from the wiki: "Fallout is a series of post-apocalyptic computer role-playing games originally produced and published by Interplay. Although set in and after the 22nd century, its story and artwork are heavily influenced by the post-World War II nuclear paranoia of the 1950s. In Vegas you play courier, traversing the irradiated Mojave Wasteland, attempting to find the guy who shot you in the head and left you for dead (ouch). You don't even have to do this as Fallout New Vegas gives immense freedoms to do mostly whatever you like.
Why Fallout New Vegas?
Well like I said before, I have never played a Fallout game, which is embarrassing as the Elder Scrolls series is my favorite of all time. I just never got around to playing "Skyrim/Oblivion with guns" as people use to refer to it as. Like most stories, it's best to start from around the beginning so I'm requesting this in oppose to Fallout 4. Despite never playing the games I do know a bit about the lore thanks to the Shoddycast lore videos (Check them out, they do Elder scrolls as well) and from what I have heard it has got a great back story with deep lore spanning literal centuries after the apocalypse began. Finding out about the different vaults and their unique experiments is very interesting much like finding Daedric shrines in the ES games. The setting of post-apocalyptic America is also really appealing as it gives a type of survival aspect you don't really get in vanilla Skyrim and future is a nice break from all the fantasy worlds the dominate RPG's, The massive amount of things to do and places to explore really amazes me considering it came out before Skyrim.
Thank you for reading my request!
Edit: 30mins left
Edit: So it looks like the sale is over.
