Hello, /r/GiftOfGames!

I'm here to humbly request Oxygen Not Included, a game that could be summed up as the fury and agony of playing Dwarf Fortress with the theme of Space.

I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to two genres, space and base building. I have more hours on Minecraft than I'm happy with looking at, I've polluted countless Discord servers with conversations about RimWorld, and I play Hellion, Prison Architect, Kerbal Space Program, Rodina, Space Engineers, Starbound, and even Universe Sandbox. You might think I have a problem, and you might be right.

However, perhaps even more worrying is my time dedication to another space sandbox game, Space Station 13. This game absorbs so much of my time that I'm a member of the Staff Team for a server just so that I can have an excuse to put even more time into this genre.

Things like logistics, resource management, construction, and space management all fascinate me, and it's the main kind of game I play. Oxygen Not Included hits all the right places for me, and it's a game I'd love to play.

Right now, I'm unable to purchase it for myself, and I do want to play it badly. It's everything I want from a game, and the alternative to this is to wait five years, though I'm willing to wait if I have to. That said, I'd rather play it today than five years from now.

I hope I'm lucky enough to catch someone's eye and get a gift from them, but whether I do or not, I think I'll survive - Oxygen is included where I live.
