Have you ever wanted to just scratch the world from what we have and start over? Lets go to a point in time where we have to start with sticks and stones again, shall we? Maybe draw a couple pictures on tablets just to make the future generations waste their time on a picture tablet? (See what I did there? It isn't funny I know.) Onto me and who I am.

A little about me: I was pretty active in the Steam group chat before it died to Discord. Some of you may know me by the name Zacall The Jackal. Ever since the big move I have lost touch with my fellow gifters and upon entering a university lifestyle, I have no income. As an 18 year old, I worked the summer holding 3 jobs to prepare for months of college hoping to have enough money to support my needs and the one want I have been wanting. The new RX480 GPU from AMD. Well, I bought it. More about that soon. I'm now living in a dorm with my buddies from my hometown and its great, except when they leave me behind or they're in classes. I have not made a lot of new friends here, and the ones I did make drama got started. (Come on now people were adults, get this shit up and over with.) So, now I'm back to about 5 friends from my hometown that i sometimes do not see for a days at a time. I play in my universities band and that causes conflicts for me to join them in their activities sometimes. So, when I'm sitting in my dorm I would like to be entertained, that is why I have come to the most humble community I could think of. /r/GiftofGames.

Why I am requesting this:

This goes to the info on the GPU. I bought it and got it the next day, sweet right! Well, I shipped it to my home 2 1/2 hours away and i had to wait 3 days to go get it on my fall break. Fall break lasted 4 days now we're up to 5 days right? I come back and I start looking at the box and realize it takes 500W just to power this bad boy. My power supply was only outputting 500W. At this moment, I mumbled, "Well this day just went to complete shit." My roommate asked what happened, and I informed him. He laughed. So the next day i got on and was looking for a good power supply and found one for a good price, I logged into my account and bought it, but it was coming from halfway across the US. 6 days I waited for this power supply and I finally saw my name on the package board! Finally! I get to use my new GPU! I rush to my room trying to get it hooked up before my next class, it gets hooked up and I'm super excited, I look and see before I plug in the power cord that the power supply was left on. I soon realize the probable fate of this power supply. I turn it off and figure might as well try it, if its already fried I can't hurt anything. I get ready for that anxious moment of when you get to turn on this almost brand new machine, press the power button and tick but it shuts down. I unplugged everything, asked my roommate what it could be and he looked, adjusted somethings and told me to try again. Tick. Shut down. He looks up and says sorry bro. My power supply was DOA! Nooooooooooooo! Why me?!?!? Why now?!?!? I unplug it and let my new GPU sit for the 14th day. I ordered a new power supply Wednesday and got it Thursday. Plug it in and now I am running my new GPU! Unfortunately a 300$ project just went to close to 500$ I'm all out of money for the semester basically. That's why i am asking you kind folk, I want a new game to crank this GPU on and Civ 6 overrules BF1 for me. I've watched videos and love the style of it. Love how different, but not different, from Civ 5. I really want this game but I can't scrounge up the change from anywhere to buy it :(

Finally the end

The way I function is I spend as much on another person that one has spent on me. If one of you bought me Gmod for 10$ i would spend 10$ or more on someone else or more than one person. Just pay it forward is the way I take it. I guarantee as soon as i get to work again over Christmas Break I will grant some of you your Christmas wishes.
