First the mandatory hug for /u/Ali-Sama. You are an amazing person. *Hug*
Thanks to some generosity in the past, I've been able to play a game (Crusader Kings II) I couldn't afford at the time and launched an obsession with games from Paradox Interactive, building up a collection through purchasing and gifts. I've enjoyed every hour and made connections through the community of those games, meeting good people I would otherwise never have had the chance to meet.
I've given back to the community a few times and gifted before here (awaiting the flair) and even given to friends to help spread the love I received here, but I'm currently in a rough spot and can't get a certain game I've been wanting for a long time now.
That game is Kerbal Space Program, a game I'm sure many of you know about. I've watched people play the game on YouTube, watched livestreams, and played it when it was still free after it was featured on NerdCubed's Free Game Fridays. I've been lucky enough to get to play games like it such as Space Engineer, and poured hours into Orbiter (A great free space flight game) but I've not been able to get a hold of Kerbal Space Program itself.
I've always had an obsession with games like it; when it was still a small free online game, I poured hours into it messing around. I've slowly watched it become more complex with things like people landing on the Mun, new planets, landers, mods being introduced, satellites, and people coming up with all sorts of amazing things. Every time I saw something new and amazing, I've wanted to take part in that discovery even more.
I'm hoping that I'll get lucky enough today to be granted a chance to join into the community around this game like I did with Paradox Interactive's games and get to enjoy building rockets, satellites, probes, etc. and trying to explore the game's solar system.
