Hi, I am Roi, a 20 years old college student from Israel.
About this game
Next Car Game : Wreckfest is a masterpiece of racing and physics. It is a racing game that specifies in realism and awesome crash and damage physics, which allows the player to experience a race or a crash derby in its full glory. It has a lot of potential, a lot of customization options, a huge variety of cars to choose from, game modes and more. here is an example of what the game is capable of in the physics department. It is built on the ROMU engine, developed from the early 2000's, and looks really nice, so the engine isn't the only thing they worked on. You can choose to play a track ( tarmac or dirt, each can lead to different results while driving ) race or participate in wrecking derbies, and like every racing game - come out as the victor.
Why do I want this game?
I have been a fan of racing games ever since I was a kid. I remember playing Midtown Madness 1 on our Win98 computer back in the early 2000's, then Midtown Madness 2 ( them graphics, man ), and later rediscovered the racing scene in elementary school, with Need For Speed Underground 2, which was my favorite and go-to game for a really long time and which I shared the disk with a friend ( he ended up taking it after a year or two and never returning it [ sad violins ] ). Went on to Burnout - Paradise, that stunned me with its great open world and so many cars and events. Later bought Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2010, which had an amazing soundtrack and a great variety of cars and I enjoyed for many tens of hours. Got Dirt - Showdown from a GoG'r not too long ago, great fun! I also enjoy Rocket League, which car physics is very fun, and its connection with sports is amazing.
This everlasting connection of me to racing has brought me to write down this very request. I think a game like "Next Car Game - Wreckfest" will be amazing fun to me, and will give me many hours of fun, I enjoy detailed destruction very much, I love games infused with physics, and the connection of the two sounds epic.
Why can't I get it myself?
I kinda blew most of what I had left on GoG secret santa and giving little gifts to members of the community. I regret nothing! 20$ at its current state ( 50% off until the fourth of Janurary ) Is more than I could afford right now, which is a bummer. I can't afford a job at the moment, it would take a lot of my learning time and all my free time, which would turn me into a mess.
Please consider my request, I will be in your debt forever.
And this is the games' page.
Thank you for your time.
