So I'm fairly new to the community. I feel kinda bad that my first interaction with the community is a request. But today I was sitting here and looking on my desktop and see a file called "Metro 2033 Code.txt" and I open it and BAM theres what I imagine will be an unused code for the classic version of the game. I already have the game so I paste it into steam to see if it works and it says I already have it. But I'm not even sure if this means it really works or not.
That's all kind of besides the point though. So I'm thinking "Man what if it doesnt work? I would hate to disappoint someone from the community" and I decide instead to buy a copy of Metro 2033 Redux instead. It's not horribly expensive but it would make me feel better about giving away a code that may or may not work.
So here I now have a giftable copy of Metro 2033 Redux on steam and a (I'm pretty sure) unused copy of the original. So I will pick one person to get the Redux gift and one to get what I really REALLY hope is a working code for the classic version of the game.
All you have to do is tell me how awesome this stinky fellow is and a random number from 1-100 and I'll pick a first (and hopefully second) place to get one then the other. Price is right rules though, closest without going over.
Ill pick the winners at around 11:00pm EST. Hopefully theres someone who would like it. =)
Dont forget to include your steam ID link to qualify!
Well seeing as how theres only 2 people interested in the game and theres 2 items I did a random.org roll for 1-2 for oldest post being 1 and newest being 2 and I got 2. So congrats /u/StevensonThePotato who is getting the redux and /u/JourneyIntoMystery83 who is getting the classic. Hopefully the classic works.
