So I have finished Life is Strange recently and I really enjoyed it , it was awesome , I haven't felt so immersed in a game in a really long time. It did a great job of making me relate to the characters and feel for them. I was actually worried that ... , I was on the edge of my seat. I loved the teen drama in the game as well as how it represented the darker and more serious issues young people are facing. The soundtrack , which was awesome as well, really helped to set the mood for each episode. And then comes the time travel aspect . Im a huge time travel fan , I have watched most if not all time travel related movies and have read a large number of sci-fi novels revolving around it. That being said I thing Life is strange's time travel plot is one of the really good ones out there.

So why Dreamfall? Well lets compare it to LiS

Considered a great adventure game ✓

I tried playing the original Longest Journey demo hoping it would keep me occupied for a while , but it was basically unplayable , with constant flickering and locked at 640x480 (there used to be a sad emote here but I remembered what Chloe from LiS used to say about them) and I think asking for Dreamfall chronicles is a bit too much.
