So, a couple weeks back, I requested help from this subreddit since I was planning on building a PC for my birthday, which is today, the 22nd. In the post, a kind redditor by the name of u/nomnaut offered to send my a couple of parts in order to help me. He offered to send me a GTS 250 at first, then he offered two, then he offered RAM as well! I honestly couldn't believe that he sent it until I actually got the parts in my hand. So, big shoutout to him, because without him, I wouldn't even be typing this in the first place. Overall, my PC landed in at 300$ (50$ above initial budget- sorry..) and I plan on ordering some more parts online since I just won a 30$ CSGO bet. Here are the Specs:
AMD FX-6300 6-core processor @ 3.5 GHZ
MSI 970a-G46 MOBO
4 GB RAM
2x GTS 250 SLI
750 GB HDD
500W PSU
and the case is an ENERMAX OSTROG BW case.

Overall, I'm very happy with my build, and I was able to stay in budget (somewhat). Building and researching the PC parts was so much fun, and I spent so much of my day doing it previously, that I kinda feel weird that I don't have to do it anymore. At least now I can finally be part of the PCMR, and enjoy the games I haven't been able to play. And besides, what more can I ask for? My birthday wish came true almost two times better. Maybe I can get some birthday luck and win enough skins for GTA V! Anyway, thanks for reading!
