Ive had lots of fun with Serious Sam HD The First Encounter and Serious Sam 3 BFE. Its just pure , clean fun. You have a gun - you shoot at monsters , and thats it. No elaborate dialog ,long cinematics, puzzles or rpg elements. You have one goal : to kill as many alien scum as possible and get them off our sweet sweet planet.

Well I guess the devs puzzle ideas had to go somewhere so they made The Talos Principle (yeah , thats right , the talos principle started as a puzzle in a new Serious Sam game) Few people know this but the game has two endings. One where you beat the aliens and one where you die at thast boss and you see the game over screen he-he-he.

The heartbreaking thing is I thought I had Serious sam HD the second encounter , because I could see it in my library. So last night Im all like "hm hey lets play some Sam" , so I install it , fire it up aaaaand it turns out to be a demo that you get with The First Encounter.
