Yo yo!
I was talking with a bunch of hoodlums in the chat and the discussion of movies came up.
I threw a pitch that we should watch a movie together using a wonderful site called rabbit.
Now. What is rabbit?
Rabbit let's you share one computer screen with up to 15 people so that you can watch movies together.
Wow that sounds amazing /u/makesyoufeeldirty but isn't that illegal?
Not. At. All!
What makes rabbit not illegal is the fact that it's supported by some big name video distributers (Hulu, Youtube, Netflix, NBC) so you can use those sites on rabbit.
I will be in control of the "remote" and only I will be allowed to control the computer. (Due to some.... bad test runs in the chat involving porn...)
SO there's that.
The platform rabbit is quite nice and easy to use so there's that.
We will be watching with our mikes mics (sorry I always spell it that way lol) and cameras off BUT we will be using the integrated chat to communicate throughout the film.
SO.
If you're interested in this leave the username you will use to join the room ( you do not need to register/sign up at rabbit. When entering a rabbit room all you need to do is choose a username).
OUR FIRST MOVIE NIGHT
will be this Friday (July 10), 8 PM EST.
The movie choices
can be voted on up there^ (please only vote if you're interested in showing up and watching)
Again, there are only 15 spots available so I will be doing first come first serve (please only sign up if you intend to watch with us and have a nice laugh. We will just be talking a lot in the rabbit chat)
Hope to see you there!
Edit: We don't have a dedicated Netflix account to use right now, so most of our movies will be coming from here.
