Hey all, I just wanted to take some time to thank the people that I've gifted who have played the games I sent.
Top Giftee Award
/u/tukituki1892 was gifted Nuclear Throne and now has more hours in it than I do! Great to see you're enjoying it :)
/u/acestevezer0 - Gifted Shadowrun and became one of the best giftees I've had. Very appreciative, lots of time put into the game and generally a lovely fellow.
/u/RAnDomBandGirl - Saints Row IV; another one of the best giftees I've had. Played the game loads, waxed lyrical about it and was generally all-round appreciative and showed it!
/u/Tamstheviking - That's a heck of a lot of hours for a game which I thought you'd chosen just for nostalgia sake. 21 hours in the original Hitman? In this day and age! That's dedication!
/u/Eyke21 - It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains... 5 hours on a game that cost me pennies? You win the cheapest to please award!
Special Mentions For Those Who Played Their Games For A Reasonable Amount Of Time
/u/shradowlord, /u/iswagg, /u/d9sinc, /u/boogabooman, /u/tipsheda, /u/Taoito, /u/SupaSlide, /u/GeneralJohnSedgwick, /u/Canadianspycrab
It can be pretty disappointing when you give away games and see that they're sat unplayed, or in some cases not even redeemed (!!!) but you guys are what makes gifting worthwhile. We put a lot of effort into thanking those who've gifted us a game, but there's a two-way street that's easy to forget: the reason for giving is to see the gift in action, being used and enjoyed by those who requested it. Thanks for /u/JPSCrazy for spurring me to go back and look at previous giveaways out of curiousity, and thank you to all mentioned for being top giftees!
And once again, here's to /r/giftofgames and the mods for being all round swishtastic.
