[Request] Humble Star Wars Bundle

Post Body

Thanks for reading this, it's quite a lot to ask for at $12 (link here) but I thought I'd try as I threw $40 at the last Humble Card Bundle and my budget can't stretch to the extra while the timer is still going. But I'll do my best to try and convince you :)

The Star Wars games used to be a staple for awesomeness back in the day, LucasArts especially used to churn out classics almost constantly (X-Wing anyone?)

Somewhere along the way, I missed out on a lot of the later classics. I'd played Star Wars Battlefront and loved it, but for whatever reason I was never in possession of a Console or PC that would run KOTOR, Empire At War, Public Commando or the Force Unleashed. I'd heard great things about KOTOR, and the Force Unleashed looks like a tonne of fun - so I'd really love to try those out.

Dark Forces - It was one of the first PC games I ever get, in this big LucasArts bundle that included Monkey Island and all the other classics. I stupidly swept this game to one side for ages, thinking it a standard Doom clone - but on loading it up, wow, the music, the stages, the enemies - it dripped in theme from start to finish. I was engrossed with this game as a kid.

Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy - But not as much as the Jedi Knight games capture me! In fact, I only had a demo of the original Jedi Knight and I used to play it over and over. When I'd played it to boredom, I found cheat codes that changed elements of the game - gave you all the super powers or infinite grenades and played it through over and over with different settings. Just that one starting level, over and over and over. I don't think I'd ever do that with a game nowadays (to be fair, there's too much choice these days to do that) but Jedi Knight was the best!

Everything else in the pack is, as above, a case of never played but really want to play. I really want to try out the Force Unleashed games more than anything else, and I'm really hoping that the added games include X-Wing and/or the original Jedi Knight (so I can finally play past level 1).

Thanks for reading! Fingers crossed :)
