Hello!

Three days ago I requested this game and didn't have luck, so I'm asking again just in case someone new can help me.

I am a flight sim player, but I'm on the low income side of the hobby, I don't have a good joystick and won't have until end of summer that my friend can help me pay for one and we'll share it. I also don't have any other paid equipment, just a webcam that I needed anyways for work meetings and OpenTrack with AI to use as TrackIR substitute and the cheap joystick that isn't even mentioned on manuals that talk about different ones for flight sim. Right now situation is even worse than when I started because I lost my job months ago and I'm having struggling to get to the end of the month. My friends help, as I helped them when I was employed and they weren't, and it'll be that way again when I get a job, but I can't ask them for anything more, and asking for a game to someone who is already helping with other more important stuff is not fair and I don't want to be more of a burden to them.

That's why the other day I asked for the game and today I'm trying here again.

I will tell you the sims I've played and what does Wings Over Flanders Field have that's better or new against the other ones.

I have played IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 (still playing), complete with mods and played a lot, but it's AI is not the best and the campaigns are not the best either, they are too simple. The game is a beast when it comes to Multiplayer but I am a singleplayer gamer.

I have played and still play sometimes IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles and I like it, but it has the same problems the earlier entry has. One thing that has that I like is that has a WWI theatre, but it's divided in 3 DLC that are more expensive than WOFF (each one alone is way more) and include way less content. I am right now playing the first of those WWI DLC as I got it long ago when it first came out.

I have played DCS and again, it's not the best for singleplayer and it's more focused on modern era planes and multiplayer. Also, price tag of each plane is like a stab on my kidneys, while at the same time I don't like those planes that much. Still I enjoyed one of the free planes that come prepacked but I want more variety.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is another IL-2 game I played but I didn't like its mission structure and the selection of planes. And it also doesn't have dynamic campaign which is something I'm really interested in.

War Thunder: Played ages ago, I am still tempted to install again, but I don't want to play multiplayer and it doesn't have singleplayer. Also the simulation is not that good.

Aces High 3: Someone suggested this one some time ago and I haven't tried, but I've read somewhere you need a subscription for it (even though it says it's free to download on steam) and again its online multiplayer, which is a no no for me.

Rise of Flight: Played years ago and the other day started again to play, it's good, but it's more focused on multiplayer again. It has good physics for the planes, but the inmersion is not that good because fields are empty most of the time and there's not much variety of planes, is mostly fighters and one or two light bombers if I remember correctly. It doesn't have any missions for any other type of plane.

Now, with what I have said about these sims, I'll tell you about Wings Over Flanders Fields: It's a singleplayer game with what people say it's the best dynamic campaign and the best AI. It's focused on WWI instead of the other sims that are more focused on WWII or modern. It has much variety of planes and missions for them, like doing bombing runs, escorting bombers, dogfighting... Graphically it may not be much, but it's the kind of graphics I love and the inmersion is top from what I've seen, as anti air cannons are actually dangerous, things happen on the ground and you feel like you are part of a bigger theatre, rather than feel like playing a scenario prepared for you.

I hope you can help me get this one, please and thanks!
